Woman Who Kicks Ass: Mamata Banerjee

My father gets the credit for passing along this recent NYT article (thanks!).  It’s about Mamata Banerjee, a woman in who is launching a political assault on the ruling communist party in West Bengal, the CPM.  From her base in Calcutta she is targeting CPM's cycle of violence against villagers, and she can rouse crowds 100,000 strong when she speaks.  Here’s to a woman who raises hell for all the right reasons!
