This video comes to the blog via my friend Lea. Narayanan Krishnan was a chef for Taj Hotels in Bangalore when he was struck by the fact that although he was able to feed all of his guests at the hotel, there were people in his hometown of Madurai dying of hunger. He quit his job as a chef in 2002 and has since devoted himself to feeding the hungry, homeless, and mentally disabled in Madurai. He is is one of the 2010 Top Ten Heroes for CNN.
