Indian Basketball Player To Try Out For WNBA
Geethu Anna Jose will become the first Indian to try out for the WNBA. From Kerala, the 6'2" 25 year-old-center has been playing in Australia for the past three years. She started playing basketball at the relatively ripe old age of 13. An estimated 4.5 million people in India play basketball (who knew?). We'll have to watch and see how she does. Best of luck!
